Virat Kohli has announced that he’s going to depart the leadership of the Indian team in the short format after the T20 World Cup

Star batsman Virat Kohli, who has led the Indian team altogether three formats of cricket, announced his resignation from the leadership of the national team on a social networking site and shared a post on Twitter during this regard.

In his post, Virat Kohli said that he will leave the leadership of the Indian team within the short format after the scheduled T20 World Cup in Dubai, but will still captain the Indian team in ODIs and Test matches.
