Aaron Gordon, Nuggets agree to 4-year, $92 million contract extension —
Aaron Gordon is going to be a future member of the Denver Nuggets. consistent with Athletic’s Shams Charania, Gordon has agreed to increase his four-year, 92 92 million contracts with Nuggets. The deal will keep Gordon within the Nuggets uniform until 2026, although it includes a player option for the 2025–26 season. If no expansion had taken place, Gordon would become an uninterrupted agent after next season.
Gordon, who played the primary six full seasons of his career as a member of the Orlando Magic, traded with Gary Clarke in March from Orlando to Denver in exchange for Gary Harris, RJ. Hampton and future first-round picks.
He appeared in 25 regular-season games for the Nuggets, averaging 10.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and a couple of .2 assists. He also played 10 playoff games for Denver, averaging 11.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, and two assists per performance. Now that he’s been in Denver for an extended time, he and NBA MVP Nikola Jokic will still develop their chemistry together on the frontcourt, as they need the potential to be a dynamic pair at both ends of the ground.
The deal isn’t particularly surprising. After trading for it, it’s understandable that the Nuggets would really like to stay 25-year-old Gordon on top of things of the team for several more seasons. Late last month, it had been reported that Gordon and Nougat shared a “mutual hope” for an extension and that they eventually succeeded.

The crowd at the Nuggets will enter the ‘21–22 campaign as a legitimate contender for the Western Conference, although the team is going to be without defender Jamal Murray for a short time as she continues to get over the ACL injury she suffered. Endured in April. Until Murray returns to the active roster, we cannot see Nougat fully force.
In the meantime, it’ll be up to Joke and Gordon to assist lift the scoring load in his absence. Now that Gordon is going to be conducting full off-season and training camps as a member of the Nuggets, his familiarity with the franchise — and his role — will likely increase. As a result, Gordon Mail could substitute line for an enormous season at High City.
